We're looking for a Content Marketing Manager who can be our content creation powerhouse. You should be a creative, deadline-driven writer with experience writing longform content and blog posts for B2B brands. You should be able to seek out, discover, and analyze trends and themes within the data surrounding social marketing profiles, campaigns, and competitive sets, and produce content about those trends to fuel our brand awareness, demand generation, and customer success efforts. Social media expertise preferred, but not necessary.

You will also be driving and executing our Wave Influencer Program, getting influencers in our field to understand and promote our products and content, as well as managing those relationships.

The position is a part of our marketing team, and will utilize Simply Measured’s social media data and analytics to create content that furthers Simply Measured as the expert source of information about social media marketing and analytics.

Ideal Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a marketing researcher, writer, or analyst, preferably in the digital or social media space.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills; Must be comfortable with data analysis and able to use data/metrics to tell a story.
  • Deep understanding of social media, social marketing. Previous social marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent writing ability.
  • Proven track record of creating content or delivering on projects that require diligent attention to detail.
  • Portfolio of completed research, analysis, and writing projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize a wide variety of tasks quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, identify, analyze, and create data-driven content about social media audience, topic, and brand trends.
  • Write regularly about social media campaigns, network and tactical trends, and competitive or industry benchmarks.
  • Own our Wave Influencer Marketing program
  • Manage our production of social media research papers, studies, and reports, utilizing necessary resources to deliver high quality content that supports marketing initiatives.
  • Produce data-driven blog posts on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain a regular cadence of social media studies and reports, delivering 3-4 pieces of unique research each month.
  • Become an expert, both internally and externally, on social media trends, analysis types, and brand tactics.
