Simply Measured is seeking a Marketo Administrator with a knack for email marketing to join our team. The person’s primary role is to own and support our robust email marketing programs and ensure operational efficiency and consistent improvement. This person will work closely with our go-to-market teams to implement new initiatives, as well as overseeing currently established programs to streamline our marketing operations processes. Success in this position requires a digital marketing DNA, an analytical mind, high attention to detail and ability to create high quality work in a face-paced and evolving environment.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Marketing automation:

  • Build, manage and execute email marketing campaigns using Marketo (expert knowledge of Marketo is a must) with the different GTM leaders
  • Conduct A/B testing and optimization procedures and programs to continually improve the overall performance of email marketing efforts
  • Research and implement best practices into current campaigns to optimize overall performance

Reporting & analysis:

  • Report on programs performance and be in charge of setting goals and KPIs to ensure consistent improvement
  • Provide recommendations to improve campaign performance and analyze marketing funnel conversion rates

Marketing operations & database management:

  • Manage database segmentation and MQL criteria rules to deliver quality lead flow to a growing sales team
  • Manage quality of our house-list to ensure data integrity
  • Monitor Salesforce performance and oversee new and existing Marketo integrations and vendor relationships
  • Be the primary system administrator for marketing software

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other field with relevant work experience
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in B2B marketing with a strong focus on operations, database marketing and/or demand generation. SaaS marketing experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation, lead scoring programs, and CRM systems (Marketo, Infer, Salesforce)
  • Understanding of email marketing operations, technology, testing techniques and platforms; specifically building requirements for list segmentation, workflows and triggered events
  • Experience reporting and analyzing data from marketing & CRM systems
  • Experience with basic HTML, organic, and paid search campaigns a plus
  • Experience in cross channel collaboration and ability to work well in teams and independently
  • Process driven and detail oriented
  • Proven ability to pick up new technical skills quickly, problem-solve, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Passion for developing processes to save time and optimize for results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
